First off, the customer service was second to none. There were some shipping issues and they bent over backwards to help me and even gave me a free laser to make up for it. It wasn’t even really their fault. With this laser make sure you start with batteries fully charged, then you will really see the power of it. I purchased the 1600 mW version Which does indeed burn wood, paper, and various other items. You really need to wear your safety goggles with this, the nearly ultraviolet light can reflect off of surfaces that you wouldn’t think were reflective. Mine had a bad battery And again the fabulous customer service folks sent out a replacement battery immediately. This is what builds loyalty, along with a product that really does work. My experience with this and the other laser, a 591P, has been fantastic. The laser is very solidly built, they said they upgraded the case for me also. I can’t believe how well I was treated. It’s easy to focus although some people with large fingers may need to put some grippy tape around the edge, my tiny fingers were easy to work with it. With fresh batteries it easily burned wood. It’s very visible for a while at night, but isn’t the right wavelength to look at the bottoms of clouds. If you blow some smoke through the beam it looks unearthly beautiful. I tried to attach a video where you could hear the sound of the laser but it won’t let me so I’ll attach a photo and you can just try to imagine that hissing sound it made. I haven’t enhanced this photo any, just cropped it. I was surprised about some of the visual effects the camera picked up that my eyes couldn’t see through the safety glasses. If you want a good violet laser that will pack a little bit of a punch, this is the one for you! And thanks so much to Tinker Lasers for your Incredible customer service!

1,6W powerhouse provides a smashing spectacle! Very beautiful purple color, beam burns wood easily, and chassis seems to be of high quality. Equipped with a 5x extender I'm sure it'll be sharpshooter's favorite toy going forward!

Very impressed with the quality of this device. It came in a nice case and even included a small charger for the 16340 batteries it came with.

Bought this a while ago and have to say this is a beast! Very beautiful color and good for long-range sightings. Casing is also very elegant and durable.
